and the listening that we find the US we buried under duties and obligations and chores and leadership and
parenthood and the "I shoulds" of life. Whew -- don't you feel better already?
Once you have embraced the change -- look at you -- you're free and unencumbered. The world awaits you -- the
real you! Remember her? Remember him? Remember your hopes, your dreams, your aspirations? Of course you're a bit
frightened -- perhaps a little terrified. Change does that to a person. But isn't change also exhilarating? Isn't
this feeling better than the frustration or, worse, the numbness that complacency brings?
Embrace change -- fall in love with change -- here are some steps to help you:
1. Acknowledge that change is happening
2. Wallow and whine (if necessary) no more than 5 days
3. Accept the change – embrace the emotions
4. Listen and follow your intuition, your self direction
5. Take a peek in every open door and window – you never
know what might await you.
